Many of you will know Glenn my hubby is an airplane nut. Having retired from Cathay he is now entertaining himself with formation flying and acrobatics in our little two seater RV7 (which he lovingly built) with a bunch of similar gentlemen.

After months of training and boot camps he and his 12 friends performed their first show at the weekend at the Pacific Airshow on the Gold Coast in front of over 100,000 people on the beach. Having never seen the whole display before I have to say I was really impressed!

For those who are interested, I have put a link to the display below – Glenn is the blue and white plane, a bit tricky to spot when they are all together, but at the front of the team of four who split off for a bit of arial dancing between minutes 6 and 11.

So lovely to see a group of people almost as passionate about their hobby as horse people! Looking forward to the next show.
